SpaceX officially launched its 2,000th Starlink satellite

SpaceX have officially passed 2,000 satellites launched last night.

SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket has launched four dozen satellites on January 18th 2022 and have officially launched over 2,000 satellites.

The rocket launched from Launch complex 39A, The Kennedy Space centre in Florida at 9:02pm EST, The original launch time was 7.04pm but they resorted to their second launch opportunity.

The 49 satellites being bought into orbit by the falcon 9 bring the total number of Starlink satellites in orbit to 2,049.

SpaceX are trying to launch over 4,000 satellites in an attempt to bring internet to the whole world.
